Project History: Laboratory Sample Disposal

HM Environmental Services, Inc. was contracted by a laboratory for removal of spent samples. The samples, diverse in character, were packaged in drums by the laboratory. HM was responsible for evaluating disposal options and gaining disposal approval. Representative samples were taken of each waste type, and waste characterization reports completed. Waste approval was received at a non hazardous waste facility for five drums of solid waste. Seven drums of hazardous, liquid waste were taken to a hazardous waste facility. The drums were labeled accordingly and manifests completed by HM for transportation and disposal.
