Confined Space Training
Many industrial and remediation projects require entry into tanks, pits, vaults, and other confined areas. Our personnel are trained in confined space entry procedures, atmospheric monitoring, hazard assessment, and rescue protocols to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA standards.
OSHA Trench &
Excavation Safety
Excavation projects carry inherent risks. Our team completes OSHA trench and excavation safety training to properly manage soil conditions, shoring requirements, equipment operation, and site safety planning.
Hazardous Waste Licensing
HM Environmental holds hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste licenses required to transport and manage regulated materials throughout Michigan and the Midwest. These licenses support our transportation, remediation, and disposal services.
First Aid & CPR Certification
Supervisors and designated personnel maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications to support on-site emergency preparedness and safety response.
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
All applicable field personnel complete the OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training program. This certification prepares our team to safely manage hazardous substances, contaminated environments, and regulated waste operations.
Annual 8-hour refresher courses are completed to maintain certification and ensure continued regulatory compliance.
